The Secret to Living A Long Life - How to Live Long

How to Live Long and Warp Time
About extending your lifespan, Letterman said he spoke with a neighbor who claims that by running a few minutes a day, he can extend his life by 5-10 years. Lettermans, response? "Yeah, but you spent those 5-10 years running!"

Extending physical life is has been a holy grail for ever. Think about Ponce de Leon, and countless others who searched for magical fountains of youth.

This is a perfect example of the wrong way to solve a problem. http://meditation-energy.blogspot.com/2005/12/how-to-be-successful-understanding.html See #1. Instead of looking outside for a solution to extending lifespan what would happen if we looked internally?

Out of the torrential downpour of information our senses process every second, You are conscious of a single drop. And this is only when you are really paying attention. Most of the time we tend to be thinking about the future or remembering the past and we miss the present altogether. When was the last time someone had to repeat themself to you since you were not listening the first time?

Have you heard of the expression "To live an eternity within the twinkle of an eye?" If this was possible to do, then extending your lifespan could be completely unrelated to time. Sound ironic?

Whether you are aware of this or not, you already stretch and compress time all the time. How slowly does time move when you are watching water boil? How quickly does time move when you are out dancing? How long was a week when you were five and how short is a decade when you are fifty?

Now, these are all instances of how your perception of time can be shifted involuntarily. There have however been moments when you have lucid conscious time warping experiences. Think back to the last time you had a car drive straight into you. Or when someone you love began to fall or get hit.

Didn't every tiny millisecond seem to unfold so slowly? Didn't it look like the universe was playing out in slow motion? Can't you still recall the frame by frame images clearly? This is how the universe can present itself to you when you are deeply in the present. When you pay more than a droplet of attention to the torrent of sensory input your brain is processing.

If you deeply go into the now, if you focus intently on what's happening right now, you can live an infinitely long life within the short span of time it takes your physical body or vessle to let you go. The opposite of this is demonstrated when an older person says, "Where did my life go? It seems like just a flash in the pan." This person may have only gone into the present at the moment of this realization.

So how do you go deeper into the now? How is this practically done? Again, ironically, it's not done at all. Atleast not by you. However, before we get into this. There are many first steps you can take to move in this direction of Mastery over TIME.

Without going too deeply into How to Warp Time now, here is a complete first step you can do right now.

1. Stop thinking about the future or past.
2. Take a moment to feel the temperature of the air and it's caressing flow.
3. Inhale. Observe the scent of the air. Sense the silent shifts in aroma.
4. Feel the chair under you. Feel everything that is touching your skin. Your clothes, the vibration of the hairs on your arms.
5. Taste your pallet. Notice the taste of your last meal or toothpaste still lingering.
6. Listen to the most soft of sounds. Then, hear the silence beneath all the sounds. If you hear an annoying screech or beeping, go between the peeps and beneath the screech, go to the place where the sound came from, go into the silence.
7. See details. See all the single loose hairs on the person beside you. Look up. Look at the ceiling and the clouds. Look where noone ever looks. Look at corners. Look at blank walls. Look at everything without focusing on anything. Look THROUGH WALLS. Look at what is on the other side of a wall. You'll see it. Vision does not occur in the eye. Vision occurs in the mind. So you CAN look through walls.

When you make a regular practice of this hightened awareness and presence, you're minutes will lengthen, deepen, and become richer. Then, to strengthen this ability, Meditate on making the related sense chakras brighter and glow hotter. Meditate and visualize an ever growing synaptic vinework from your mind to all your sense receptors in your ears, eyes, skin, nose, and palate.

You may have just added a million regular linear years to your life. It's like earning Euros but spending it in Costa Rica. The same linear currency goes much further.

Why does doing the opposite of what you want to do help solve a problem?

Good question... if you are refering to one of our podcasts... I personally remember speaking these words...

basically... there are 2 places from which we want...

1. the flesh
2. the spirit.

if you want from the spirit... do it... if your intuition and GUT wants something wholesome... get it.

BUT

If you want from the flesh... for instance... if a child does something irritating, a parent's fleshly desire may be to spank the child. But doing so may only cure the behavior, NOT the ENERGY that caused the child to act in the first place...

I simply mean that if you do the opposite of what your FLESH wants ... you'll likely have a solid spiritual AND physical solution
